Another abandoned house in Quebec province (Canada), and a good opportunity do some rurex and some urban photography. Driving across the Montérégie, we found this old house, almost invisible from the country road. Many trees and bushes are covering it, so it makes it difficult to see it. The abandoned paper recycling plant of Montreal is located near the Lachine Canal, south part of Montreal island. Made of red bricks walls and wooden floors and structures, the old abandoned plant still contains lots of recycling bins and paper rolls. Something good to do a little urbex session. The tunnel was build in 1895 as the Brock tunnel (Brock Street Tunnel) by P.W. George who was the Montreal city engineer at the time. Design and construction of the tunnel, subway and viaduct were supervised by Stuart Howard under P.W. George’s direction. Two contractors worked on it too: Emery Lafontaine and Charles Lemoyne. The abandoned factory of Canet in Herault (France), is also known as the industrial wasteland of Agrocanet. Located at the entrance of the town of Canet, along the road to Clermont l’Herault, it will probably be part of the eco-neighborhood of Boullounac, a project of 10.5 ha.
